The book Into The Wild has actually been adjusted into a film of the same name directed by Sean Penn with Emile Hirsch (Lord Of Dogtown) starring as McCandless. The movie's U.S. release date was September 21, 2007.

About Into The Wild: Chris McCandless matured in Annandale, Virginia, and died at the age of 24 in a wilderness area of Alaska. After graduating from high school in the 1990s, Emory University, McCandless stopped all communication with his household, handed out his life savings of $24,000 and began taking a trip, later to desert his hunting trip and hunted all animals such coyote, duck, fox and etc..
